how many clips preloaded?
how many clips loaded on the fly as you go?
how many scenes?
what length are your clips?
did you ever have trouble?

as stated in the bug/support forum, i can't go more than 3-4 songs without running ...

yeah, i sent word to ableton's tech support. hopefully they will be able to provide a solution.

so this seems like a strange question, but i keep reading everyone's speculation about switching to pc laptops, and various mac related issues...

so i ask you:
is anyone using live to perform live for over an hour with a mac?
are you happy?

what are you doing? how are you getting this to work ...

no sweat, i understand quite a bit about mastering.

my troubles are not in the mastering area. the fidelity of the audio i am using is excellent, and burned to cd's and mixed together sound lovely in a club.

what's got me down is this same audio in live...
once it get's into live, the warp markers ...

ok, so i put it all together. hours and hours of painstaking looping and tempo mapping and tweaking...

it sounds bad.

if the audio isn't dropping out, then the tempo markers are stuttery...

really got me down.

i would tap until it's pretty darn close in the que...

then retrigger the clip, and begin the mix, and adjust the outgoing record...

like mixing into a cd...

i don't think 1 minute is a long mix. for me, i like to stay in as long as possible, or is musically sensible. this ...

put clip one (the mixing loop) into scene one track one

put clip two (the rest of the song) into scene two track one

trigger clip one, and get the mix just right.
now that you have a second to think, with the arrow keys, highlight scene two.

make any mix ...

and to further inform ableton of my issues:

i went through and trashed all the plugs and reinstalled them from the disks...

same errors...

so via the one by one effort:

Zroom is no good and there is no update (trashed.)
PSP Lexicon Delay was a problem, but there is an update (updated.)

now, all ...

I totally think that "upgradeitis" leads to a mental block.
i have always said: use what you have, stop looking for the next thing...

but that's just not the way this crappy world of our seems to be headed. not in america anyway. i'll try to spare you the diatribe, and stick to the point.
