Re: Push 1 12V or 6V external power ?
Hi all.
Acquired Push few days ago and absolutely love it. However... I just noticed something thats concerning me.
On the back of my Push next to the power socket it says 6V @ 1A. However the adapter it came with is 12V @ 1.5A and this is also stated in the Push technical specifications on ...

Re: windows 7 x64 = BSOD
If it's a new build as you say, then it could be some hardware error probably. As far as my experience W7 64 is yet to fail me. It is by far the most stable system i have ever had. I just dropped a SSD into my setup as well and it runs like a dream, chews whatever i throw at it.

Master OUT - to multiple outs (presonus firebox) How to
Greeting.
Anybody own a presonus firebox and use it with live?
What i need to do is setup a master out to multiple outs. Right now, i simply have my firebox setup, and live sends the master to 1/2 stereo to my monitors. I want to keep that, but also add another set of speakers/monitors to 3/4 and ...

Filtering out MIDI data during importing into Live
Wile viewing the MIDI files in the explorer on the left, and dragging them into the session slots, the sound patch of the VST in that slot changes...
I'm guessing this is the MIDI file bringing over patch change data along with it.
Is there any way to filter this out or stop it from happening, as ...

Re: How do you work on your tracks?
I too have 4 or 5 going at any one time. I'll sit down and drop a melody in each track or a drum track/bassline, or whatever my idea comes from. Then go from there each track evolving in it's own way. Definitely not a case of being bored with 1 song, it's just the way i've been working since i began ...

I figured it out. it's ok.
I guess bit of manual reading doesn't hurt sometimes after all.

Synth Automation not showing up....
Live 8.1.4
Just began playing around with automation. I've got my head around simple stuff like volume, panning etc, but how do you automate something out of a synth? Like for example Cutoff in Sylenth1 or Z3ta ? I try recording while messing around with it and it doesnt come up. Also it is not ...

Thanks for that. And it makes sense why it would be that way.macmurphy wrote:yes, this is normal.
it's handy if you need to go back to a previous version for any reason.

Re: 8.1.4
I didn't want to open up a new thread about this, so i will ask here since it is related to 8.1.4.
I downloaded and installed 8.1.4 over my 8.1.3 installation. And there now appears to be BOTH on the system ? 8.1.4 and 8.1.3 is still there.
Is this normal ?

Thanks for all the replies.
I am not trying to beat-match and DJ on the fly using Live.
I'm creating a a megamix, compiled with portions of several songs. So i'm inserting bits and pieces from each song into my project. But i'd like those clips to remain un-warpped, yet simply sped up or slowed down ...

How to adjust speed/pitch without warpping. Just like a DJ.
I'm fairly new to warpping and speed/pitch adjustments within Live. So i don't know much. I know that when you insert an mp3 file for example. It automatically slices and warps it to suit the projects BPM/temp.
