What exactly do you mean by "mash-up template"? I did several mash-ups in Live and enjoy using Renoise, too, so our background isn't too different.

I second this. I'm on a new 27" iMac (SL), so it shouldn't be a performance issue...

Is there no way to automate switching the input button on a Filter Delay on and off? I see I can apply automation to almost everything else, but the Input isn't on that list.

Is there a way to "link" clips on different tracks in session view so triggering one will trigger the other(s) as well? Right now I just move those specific clips to a new row and delete all other ...

Last week I found out (by accident) that GarageBand 3 supports Rewire. It only acts as Master, though. Sounds from Live get nicely routed into GarageBand (or so it seems).

However, I usually rewire Reason into Live as well, but this doesn't seem to work anymore when I am using Live as a slave for ...

Refills can only be opened from within Reason itself. Guess you should try D DAS' suggestion.

Well, but posting that you flamed the hell out of Propellerheads and then announcing that you don't like their software anyway (and most probably don't use it because of that) is... well...
