:D OK I fixed the problem myself. I opened the files with Wavelab, erased the first ms (with no sound) and saved the changed file. I don't know why this happened, but it doesn't seem that it was Lives fault. Maybe the files where somehow corrupt. I only wonder why Winamp, Wavelab and Live could read ...

I got a nearly 2 year old sony vaio pcg-k215S with 2,8 GHz P4 and only 512 MB ram and it works fine with live 5 and reason 3.0. I record guitar and bass via boss GS-10 into Live 5. Reason cant read wav files anymore since Live 5 installation
After the installation of live and using drumsamples (wav) in impulse i cant open some of them anymore in reason 3.0 (redrum). Some work some dont. They all work in live. The problem exists even if live is not open at all. Is it because live adds some new files? I use windows xp. Everything else ...

Some more things from me: don't get shared memory graphics (like some cheaper Vaios have), take as much ram as you can afford (minimum 768 for Mac (the apple store is very expensive and other Ram works fine too), 512 for Windows (with a free slot if possible)).
