what i mean to say is the exact # of samples in your buffer doesn't matter. (other than increased latency). what matters is that you get rid of the ...

i mean i play one track at a time well 2 when im mixing tracks together
but i have the tracks in slots
4 main trsacks and 10 slots full of full song

play with the buffer.
see if you can find a setting that decreases the stuttering.

do you have at least 1GB of RAM?
i used to have stuttering on my old G4 when it had only 512MB.
i upped it to 1.25GB and all the stuttering went away.
