I have been a Live user since the beginning ( Live 1 ).
Upgraded to every version since, but only upgraded to 5.2 from 4.0 on 8/30/06 with the promise of a free upgrade to 6.0 when it was released.

Problem seems to be getting a valid serial number - I have changed ISP's since the earlier days, and ...

I have to agree about the media we are surrounded with ... television "sound bites", elevator "muzak", the National Enquirer and supermarket tabloids with poor Photoshop hacks showing proof of alien visitations, religious icons appearing in the sesame seeds on a Big Mac Burger, etc.

No AU support is still an issue, but any support on a piece of software that:

A: doesn't work
B: sits on my hard drive with "authorization" that I'm afraid to even touch to try to get it to ...

Okay - The threads on the NI site indicate a known problem with M-Audio devices/drivers using Session - I downloaded the latest version ... it still dies an ugly death. At least they are aware of it ... Not ready for prime time in the OS X world ( but what else is new ?? Patience is a virtue ).

I'd really say whatever your hardware supports - a wall of information and whatever allows you to get to what you need - two physical monitors arei always better than one ... the virtual thing allows multiple screens in a small studio space ... extra monitors are cheap enough these days, and ...

For you Mac OSX guys out there ... try CodeTek Virtual Desktop -
I have a Viewsonic 20" LCD monitor ( I convinced myself that I needed it due to the electromagnetic hum induced in my guitar's pickups using a standard monitor ... )
With CodeTek's Virtual Desktop, I can have Live running on one screen ...

Has anyone got Reaktor Session to work in Live, ( or to work at all ) using Mac OSX?

I upgraded from Dynamo to Session because it was supposedly compatible with OSX. Supposedly supporting all the Windows formats, and in addition VST, AudioUnits, etc.
