What makes it tricky is the melody is being generated by an audio-to-midi plug in from voice or an acoustic instrument (violin in my case). That makes it harder to get a consistent velocity. I'd still like to try to isolate it on the basis of note position in the bar. M4L should be capable of that ...

Is it possible to use the "send midi to outside world" in Kontakt to set up a track to receive the midi output from Kontakt? I put Kontakt into one midi track and set another midi track to receive midi from the first track, and nothing happens.

I also agree that this feature is sorely needed. Although simply the ability to assign program numbers to presets would also be nice, like in Kontakt banks or Kore performances. I would use Kore more often, but keeping it open is a big drain on CPU.

Yes it does. In fact, instructions how to do it in Live are in the Mouth manual. Only thing I'm struggling with is that when you set your midi instrument to receive midi from the Mouth track, you can send any other midi controller messages to your midi instrument from anywhere else - all it gets is ...
