Had the pK on my lap earlier. It slipped off and landed on the USB cable end, bending the port. now it's borked. What does putting EZ Drummer into a drum rack allow you to do? I'm not really familiar with drum racks sorry ><; I usually just use EZ Drummer by itself in ableton with an electronic drum kit.

I confess. I haven't really gotten into Drum Racks. I loved the concept, but many of my libraries for drums are through BFD 2, Reason 4 and Kontakt 3.
It seems that I have to load numerous instances of BFD (an instance into each Drum Racks slot). I don't seem to know how or be able to route BFD ...

I've knocked up a couple of presets for EZ Drummer - Pop/Rock and Cocktail.

You will need EZ Drummer for them to work. They were created with Live 7.02 on Windows, I have no idea if they will work on Mac.

I've just worked out that you can stick an instance of the VST in an unused cell of the drum rack, and still route all the other cells to it using External Instrument instances, so the whole thing works in a single track and can be saved as a self-contained preset :)

Trying to figure a way to map the Addictive Drums VST to the Drum Rack. I suppose it would be like assigning a note value to each drum pad.

To map to a drum rack automatically the padKontrol needs to be using the default scene 1.

It should be possible to write your own User Remote Script for a chromatic scene and have that map to the drum rack instead if you need chromatics.
