Well, I'm using it to warp-mark trance and house tunes for creating mash-ups and DJ mixes. Often that means warp-marking vocals as well. I've tried a couple other things, but I never used to have this problem with the complex mode.
At any rate, thanks for the suggestion.

Complex warp-making SOUNDS AWEFUL! - dual core iMac
Hey everyone. Ever since I upgraded to my dual core iMac in September, the "complex" warp-marking sounds AWEFUL!!!! It creates a grainy quality that I NEVER had before on my 4 year old PowerBook.
Anyone else experience this when they made the switch-over?
Thanks,
Nick

Mac Users... HELP!!! Major recording LATENCY issues!
Ok guys, I'm the first to admit that I don't have the most up to date equipment, but there shouldn't be any reason why I can record ONE audio track and monitor in real time with the following equipment:
PowerBook G4 - 1 gHz w/512 MB of RAM
PreSonus Firebox
Mogami mic Cable
GrooveTubes GT 55 ...

Well....
Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I have a lot of decision making ahead of me. I don't think that Seattle would be even half of what SF is as far as trance/progressive house music... but I could be completely wrong.
I did forget to mention that that style of music is my focus.

Hey Seattle.
I'm thinking of moving there from central California. I don't know much about the scene. Can somebody refer me to a good website for info on the Seattle electronic music scene. This would be a HUGE move for me. It's either that or San Francisco. Seattle seems to be cheaper (as far as monthly living ...

Central California (Modesto)
Hi everybody. Just wondered if there's anybody around my area on here. While it's nice to get out to the San Francisco bay area once in a while, that's a little too far to drive on a regular basis.
Anyway, I'm just trying to figure out Live 5. I have a lot of the basics down, but it would be great ...
