I read in soundonsound about a vst that you can slap on you master bus to try how your master will sound with x amount of digital file compression in real time. What was the name of it? Been searching like a madman through my magazines but I simply cant seem to find it!

Windows 8 has been around as a release preview for some time now and the new operating system is due to be released very soon. What does it look like on the compatibility front regarding this? Is it safe to install the release preview and Live 8.3.4 and expect a rather stable system?

Seriously, why isn't there a feature that simply lets me rename the live set while having it open? It drives me nuts when I'm organizing my live-set folder!

This is how you should configure it to behave like the EFX unit:

Set "Chance" to 0
Set the output mode to "Ins"
Press "repeat" where you want to beging the looping and the play with ...

Even with the standard (16bit/44.1khz) settings, it shouldn't sound different from what you hear inside the DAW. You sure you haven't accidentally checked the "convert to mono" button? Do you have any EQ turned on in your playback program (foobar/itunes/winamp etc) that could alter the sound ...

So I have this project, I only use the built in ableton stuff in the suite and sample files. This is what happened to my grid:



The worst part is that I can't get the view back no matter how I zoom. What to do? Can you abes help me out?
