Wikipedia has a pretty decent technical explanation of what appears to be happening. Looks like ableton uses a simple resample in this case.

Pretty much every DJ flyer around boston says that the guy's gonna be playing electro... meh.

As far as I can tell, no. All of the clip functions seem to be only available to the focused clip. But you could get a vst plug (i don't have a link handy, but they're out there) to adjust transpose and set one on each channel.

That's actually pretty catchy.I think you could eq the thing a bit better, especially the guitar, which really needs some kick when it's by itself. Nice track.

If you're not concerned so much about super-high accuracy, could you not just set the knob range to a smaller one (ie 0-64) then map the midi range in ableton accordingly? It sure "moves" a hell of a lot quicker that way.

USB and midi connections are pretty much the same, they both send the same data over different wires.

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to get the solo function to record, as it's designed to be external of your recorded music. You could try recording to an external device or setting up a program to record from your master out (you can probably even do this with a second instance of ...
