Question concerning peaking in grouped sounds
I was messing around with some recorded drums recently, and realized it appeared my bass drum was peaking massively in it's individual track, yet seemed to sound fine as part of the whole drumset (a group who's volume was turned down slightly). So now I'm curious, if an individual track is peaking ...

How can I plug an ableton processed bass signal into my rig?
Ok, so I've recorded an album and I'm trying to figure out how to do the bass parts of the songs live. Problem is the bass is processed by some heavy effects on these songs.
What I imagine I need to do is plug my bass into the interface, change the bass tracks output in live to one of the outputs ...

How do I manipulate multiple track's envelopes at once?
I've been recording a drum set in 4 different tracks, 1 for each mic. Is there any way to manipulate these tracks envelopes simultaneously to, for example, create a fade that applies to the whole drumset as opposed to just one piece?

Re: Basic Automation Question
I have, I believe that only applies to midi clips though. It still starts recording a new audio clip that overwrites the previous one with overdub off. My main task I'm trying to do is control an audio clips transposition envelope with an external midi controller. Everything is mapped and good, how ...

Re: Basic Automation Question
Gave that a try, still replaces the clips with silence if the global record button is activated. If it's not and just the arrangement record button is active, then it just plays it and records nothing.

Basic Automation Question
Ok, all I want to do is record some automation using an external midi controller. I was under the impression that if global record is on then if you hit play in the arrangement view that any manipulations you did would be recorded. This doesn't seem to be the case, as the ableton book I have claims ...

Trouble sampling with Drum Rack
What I am trying to accomplish is to take a clip from my portable recorder and create a drum rack from various sounds cut up from that recording. When I split a portion of the track off (In the arrangement view) and place it in a drum slot, that drum slot only seems to trigger a tiny portion of the ...
