I gave the new features vid a second chance and sorry but all they have done is "improve" things!!

Nearly every other DAW has had these "improvements" for ages and ages. I can't remember how long automation has been a requested improvement and I will be very surprised if the automation improvements ...

I have been with live since version 1.5 and they have only just got around to doing curved automation lines and adding per clip automation.

I can't say I am impressed too much, if you watch the video that reveals new things in Live, 2 of the 'new' features are improved sound and easier way to find ...

Sylenth does have a midi learn feature that just doesn't seem to work in my Abe, I click the midi learn button so the light comes on and move a fader, right click it or do what ever I can to get it to pay attention to it but I can't seem to hook them up.

Am I asking too much, I save an instrument rack with my Akai MPK49 painstakingly mapped to just about every useful control in my Sylenth Vst Synth - I save it as a Abe project and as my default start-up... OK fine that's very useful thanks!

But I don't want to have to open a brand new project in ...

So I have read through a lot of wish lists on here to try and figure out what most users want from ableton and it would seem to me that Automation is a top of the list subject for most people.

I agree heavily here because Abe's automation really is very out of date compared to most all other DAW's ...

@concept_control - I agree with you there, plug n play with no drivers is an awesome idea but I would prefer to have something to install from a disc if it meant my keyboard would work properly... doesn't take 5 mins really.

So like me you thought that the Akai MPK49 and APC40 were going to be perfectly compatible and would be the perfect setup...you took it out of the box and plugged it in no drivers disk necessary only to find that the APC40 would not work if you had the MPK49 on at the same time...SIGH!

Hey all, I might be dumb but when you have a third party plugin like Reactor the window size is always fairly big, but if you want to resize your view of say the "Analogue" instrument you are stuck with a display with a height no higher than like 150 pixels.

I would really like to know if it is ...

Just a suggestion...but it would be fantastic to have Envelope Clips where you could draw graphs/curves/line data that could be used for the purpose of automating any parameter on any instrument that the clip is associated to.

The Envelope Clip would be treated as a seperate entity (or in OOP terms ...
