Re: resetting the global time with a scene
I think i've got it. I have to turn off the global quantization (set it to none) to have a single scene launch at an irregular time. I'm hoping that the launch of subsequent scenes with clips set to a one bar quantization will then line up with the downbeat of the irregularly launched scene. I can ...

Re: resetting the global time with a scene
0fps, your reply made me think I needed to learn more about everything before I could ask my question successfully. I definitely know more about control changes and I'm learning more about envelopes. I'm going to try to ask my question again.

Re: Why does Ableton autowarp .wav file after I fix preferences?
Thanks 0fps. It was long. I ended up shutting down Ableton, creating a new set and reloading the wav file. Miraculously, it stopped auto-warping.

Why does Ableton autowarp .wav file after I fix preferences?
My first post...
I turned off the auto-warp of long samples in preferences and ableton continues to auto-warp a specific .wav file recorded in Nuendo when I import it. I've even erased the original .wav file from my hard drive and reloaded it. Strangely, I can import all of the other tracks from my ...
