Why does Ableton autowarp .wav file after I fix preferences?

Post by the harder way » Sat Oct 02, 2010 10:24 pm

My first post...

I turned off the auto-warp of long samples in preferences and ableton continues to auto-warp a specific .wav file recorded in Nuendo when I import it. I've even erased the original .wav file from my hard drive and reloaded it. Strangely, I can import all of the other tracks from my Nuendo session without Ableton auto-warping. Why is this happening and how can I make it stop?

Is it maybe a short sample? Turn off the warp for short/one shot samples at the proper field at Record/Warp/Launch tab in preferences.

Thanks 0fps. It was long. I ended up shutting down Ableton, creating a new set and reloading the wav file. Miraculously, it stopped auto-warping.
