just wondering (since I don't have the beta):

what bit-size are the temporary freeze files? In Logic express, they're 32bits float, which puts a serious strain on the audio stream from disk.You save CPU power, but the disk must then really work hard..

It would be nice/useful to ...

for mac: TcWorks Native Bundle has a working sidechainer plug in (insert on track 1 for example) which can be used by other plugz from the bundle (compress track 2 for example)..

Well, tried this also with Cubase 2SL on mac (OSX10.3.6) and had the same result: rewired Reason instruments showed up in Cubase 's midi out menu but Ableton Live did not..

Seems to me that something is wrong with Live's rewire-slave implementation. Can anyone confirm this? Does it work with other ...

I can't seem to send midi from logicexpress7 to (rewire-slaved) live 4.0.3
via the rewire-midi objects in the logic environment (which works ok with
reason)...
Live doesn't seem to offer its instruments to these objects in the same way

I got this message when installing Airy ANDRÊ's AU303-component (which he apparantly updated to work with Live 4). Have this also with pHatmatik pro 1.2.2 (not with 1.2.1)...

Is it the plugs, or is there a workaround? Is it live-specific or do other Daw's sometimes give this messages also?

On OSX or Windows XP U can try pHATmatik Pro..
Recycle and Rex player in one VSTi or AU plug.
Exporting the midi files via drag and drop isn't possible (yet?) since Live doesn't support (yet?)..

Well, when I enable more than one pair of outputs, my TiBook 1ghz freezes. No problem whatsoever in live 3.04...
Sort of the same as the problem described in the thread on the multiface crashing live 4? Is this a known bug? Anyone else having this?

(fx on out 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, exactly the same like on the masterbus). is it possible ( in live3?/in live 4?)

By the way, have not heard about the 4-5 second dropouts on OSX anymore.. Will this be fixed, along with the other MacOs optimations in Live 4?

how about making the scene up/scene down feature via midi
non-channel dependant ( as a option in the preferences ...
