Re: Viewing all your audiotrack parameters.
Thanks for the help, but it's sadly not what I'm looking for. With audiotrack parameters I mean all the settings you have applied to the audio track, like a compressor/limiter, gate and eq. So it's sort of an effectsrack but then shown as a master channel, I can't think of a better way to describe it.

Viewing all your audiotrack parameters.
This has been nagging me for days now: I thought there was a way to see all your track parameters in a seperate pop-up window. It has a spectrum graph wich shows the the eq and x-over settings in a drawing and it looks like a channel strip but in a rectangular window, but I can't find any info about ...

Re: Creating MP3s
Maybe you can use FLAC files, since that seems to be the new trend in content download with vinyl albums these days.

Plug-in or function in Ableton to restore old vinyl records?
Hi people,
I need to transfer some music from old records onto reel to reel tape, but I since the records are old and have a lot of small audible scratches and stuff I was wondering if there is a free plug-in or maybe already a function in Ableton to restore the sound without havin to draw each ...

Re: Best way to record drums in Ableton
So then: if I understand it correctly you want to use the mixer to turn all the mic channels into a stereo output that goes into your soundcard?
Try to get your hands on a Spirit Folio F1, I know, it's not a studio device, but I used it a lot for demo work and especially on drums it sounds pretty ...

Re: Best way to record drums in Ableton
With that budget? Sorry but the only thing you can do is search the second hand shops and websites in search for an old, beaten and heavily used desk from a good brand. I recently found a Philips desk for €50,- wich is great, but other then that you will have to compromise quality; but then again ...

Allthough available in different brands: I like the AKG Perception series, but do you really need multiple patterns? If not: check out the AKG C214.

Otherwise you get things like DIN racks where you can plug some units into like the Ecler Enviro, but for that kind of money you can buy half the Behringer company.

Re: Bass/kick relationship
It's hard, true because they are but there are a lot of possibilities:
You can use the kick in a sidechain to a compressor on the bass channel, it temporarily tempers the volume of the bass when you hit a kick but you might fiddle a lot with the controls to keep it from pumping and to be very ...

Hahaha, dude quit making dumb statements just for the sake of disagree-ing with other people here.
Truth be told, he has a point that you certainly shouldn't apologize, but then again I probably know more about the subject, I don't know.
