I know ableton have said push one owners will get updates in the future, but if we were able to just use the 8 macros to control simpler for chopping samples (zoom, crop etc) and using the computer monitor, with the waveform being altered like on push 2 screen, this would be a great update.

I think a lot of people would love this, I doubt NI would let it though considering it would stop a lot of sales of their dj hardware? But it would be nice to sync your laptop and sync both worlds up, hours of fun!

Actually it made me think about updating my laptop again. I've been pondering it for ages, as I'm mainly a desktop person, but Link in the coffee-house meet up could be fun. Or a nightmarish cacophony. Yeah, probably that last one.

For push 2 owners. Is it possible to properly glide up a scale using the new pads on push 2? I use korg gadget and really enjoy the way you can just play a whole load of notes without taking your finger off the iPad.

My push one won't allow this and I've been hearing good things about the pads ...
