I didn't do enough research,before I purchased a E-MU X Board49
I brought it to try to record MIDI parts and to control clips in LIVE 6.But it's not working.What am I doing wrong? Do I need to buy a M-Audio controller to work with LIVE 6 .Am I an idiot?(don't answer that!) :?

Thanks for all the help.I want to stay away from a Dell/HP,etc,because I've heard that most home computers are not optimized for audio.
I really want to get a computer just for audio/midi recording,and one that will be able to handle upgrades & plug ins as I add them.
