I'm so Sad....

Post by funklover69 » Fri Jun 29, 2007 2:57 am

I didn't do enough research,before I purchased a E-MU X Board49
I brought it to try to record MIDI parts and to control clips in LIVE 6.But it's not working. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to buy a M-Audio controller to work with LIVE 6.Am I an idiot?(don't answer that!) :?
Thanks in advance for any help.

it should work fine. you don't specifically need any brand of midi to work with live, midi is a universal standard....
have you enabled all the right things in the midi preferences? have you record armed the track you want to input to correctly? have a good read of the manual about midi input and you might be able to sort it out.
Hp Elitebook 2.8Ghz. Live 7.0.14 & Live 8.1.5, XP Pro. and stuff...

Try to turn on remote in the midi settings window in preferences
