Thanks for reminding about sample offset technique.

I definitely enjoying beat mangling.

I've been using 3 different EQs in rack chain to split frequencies [low/mid/high] then selectively apply
[beat repeat for example on mid range / taste of reverb on high]

Really helped my loops evolve bit ...

I have Firewire 410 + using it fine with Macbook Pro.

Got it routing 8 1/4" outs for my live set.
Split up my bass / drums / synth + master out.

Never used for recording inputs so no comment.
Have diff system for that. Heh.

I've never had a problem with it.
Fairly small + portable so can carry in ...

Be careful - jacking your mixes up.

Easy to get little crazy with multiband compressers or harmonic exciters.
The high-end frequencies can get harsh very quickly.

One thing that has helped this fiend is giving space to various elements of track.
Cut some bass frequencies out of your high hat parts ...
