I would like to use Operator as an instrument with Cubase SX. Is there a way to setup a midi track in Cubase to see an Operator track setup in Live. I use Cubase to record & play Reason Instruments. I would like to do the same in Live with Operator (which I love).

I have a 25 track tune that was created in Cubase SX 2.2. When I play this tune, I get zero disk activity in Cubase (or any other multi-track app). When I import these tracks (each track is 5 minutes long, 24bit,-48khz all the sam length) into Live 4.1 I can't play more than ten without the ...

You can do this. You have to copy the first warped region to the second track (control drag, I use Windows).
Go to the copied region and click on the replace sample button and navigate to the second drum track wave file. Live will replace the wave in both regions.
Next, undo the file replacement ...

Transfers from a 4track cassette recorder. about 8 songs. I have zero issues with Vegas or Soundforge.
Opens and draws the waves in seconds.
I wanted to give Live a try for the time stretching / pitch work I need to do.
I will just have to stick with Vegas for now.

When I try to load some wave files (about 45 minutes in length) Live 3.0 takes FOREVER to draw the wave file in the arrangment.
Everything seems to "cludge" up.
Using Windows XP, AMDAthlon XP 2800+
1.5 gig DDR ram,
Firewire drive
Matrox G550 DVI card
Files are 24/96 waves.

Is there a way to set the clip preview volume in Live? I can't seem to find it in the manual.
When I preview a clip, it is WAY louder than the rest of the tune.

Well, I entered the entries in the Options.txt file, but to no avail. I had my latency set to 100 ms, but still had stupidily slow, glitchy playback.
Zero problems on my Mac dual 1.25 running 10.2.6. Very stable.
Not sure what I can do.
