Unexplained CPU usage
I've found that since updating to 9.1 I have really random CPU spikes while nothing is happening. I can freeze most of my labor-intensive tracks and still be plagued with a standby reading of 60-80% cpu "usage" (I know Live's interpretation of that is a little more complicated). This jumps to >100 ...

Re: Granulator II
I just found that if I click the "about" tab really fast twice (to go back immediately to the grain or filter tab I was trying to view, the display corrects itself and I can see all the parameters. I'm not sure why that works but I guess it's the equivalent of banging on a piece of hardware and ...

Re: Kasio by Oli Larkin
yeah, Live crashes when I open up Kasio. It also does this for opfour in that other 3-synth "retro" package that you get with Suite 9. I tried re-downloading and reinstalling but it doesn't fix anything. I haven't actually upgraded to 9.02 yet though.

Re: live 9 trial hangs...not opening
Yo everybody, I think it may have something to do with config files. Because it almost all of our cases, we started it up once, and then it stopped working after that. So Live is creating dodgy .cfg's during the first start-up, making it not start properly afterwards...

Re: Seen the front page? Live 9 is here :o
I'm not used to new versions of DAWs being released but this was kind of anti-climactic in terms of new features. I'm not really disappointed because I really wanted the automation curve enhancements and Push looks awesome but...I guess I was hoping to be blown out of the water by new design changes ...

Re: APC40 v.s PUSH
Something that hasn't been explicitly stated though: Can Push launch clips like the apc40?
I'm pretty sure that's the whole point, to be able to have "zones" on the grid so you can launch clips and step sequence parts simultaneously.
yeah, I just looked through the whole Push page and watched ...

Re: APC40 v.s PUSH
Also something to consider: compared to maschine and traditional drumpads, Push looks like it has significantly smaller pads, which may affect your finger drumming.

XY controller that isn't a Kaoss Pad?
I want to use the XY pad that effect racks have, so I was looking around for something like a Kaoss pad to control it with, but that is the only thing I found...does Korg have a monopoly on this kind of hardware? I don't need it to have on-board effects or for it to be able to process audio...How do ...

Help! What is the better use of memory? Performance soon
I'm running into disk overload errors with the current Live Set I'm performing with my APC40. What I've done is condensed a single one of my songs into about 6 audio tracks, which I map into session view. What has happened is that the clips I've made for each channel, all reference the same large ...

Re: Is NI trying to convert us into a product and sell it ?
m4l is clearly advertized as a means to profit from the free contributions of the max comunity..without the need to be able to patch yourself.
Thats a rather new thing for a program like max... Cant remember that cycling has ever advertized it that way..
The majority of Live usres wont buy max ...

Re: Izotope StutterEdit: How do you make use of it?
I love how people try and "warn" you about something that doesn't matter. Avoiding plugins doesn't validate someone as an artist. There are plenty of major label producers that don't give a shit what others think and use plug ins (millions of them) all of the time and they're doing just fine ...
