Yeah, I need this too. My projects are heavily midi-mapped. I also make big use of sends. It sucks that I lose both of these things when I try and save things to my library.
Here's a simple example:
I have two tracks used just for monitoring my guitar. They use the external audio effects, and ...

Ability to change AU Plugin presets via PGM change messages
I'm using a midi-mouse to select one of 128 different FX Rack presets using a chain selector. That works GREAT. I'd LOVE the ability to somehow change the actual preset patch within the plugin actually selected in the chain. I'm using Soundtoys and haven't found a way to change their presets via ...

Re: MIDI Mapping tracks / slots
hi Guys,
we would like to know how to emulate the push or launchpad left/right arrow functions for next/previous track (slot) on our reloop keypad and FCB1010. we do not want to map each individual track to a switch or key but rather go through them sequentially.

Re: recording live set
Why not just play your liveset in session and record in arrangement view? I do this at every live show.

Re: how to record liveset during performance?
That sounds complicated. I will try to figure out what you are doing later ;-)
Are you in session or arrangement view during live?
Yeah. It is complicated to setup, but really really nice when it's all working.
I have all of my preprogrammed stuff in arrangement view. I even preprogram my ...

But why does piano keep sounding endlessly when Ped depressed? That is not well designed. Any solution for that problem?
No one designed that. You've got a problem in your setup. Is the polarity switch on your pedal backwards? Midi feedback loop?

Re: how to record liveset during performance?
Yeah. I would use a separate device. Don't stress the machine you are performing on more than required. You don't want a disk-seek glitch..
That seems super unnecessary. Live is built for this. Just use the Arranger's global record.

Re: Midi-map button to clip stop & record for the selected track
I think I'm converging on something here.
1. How to trigger clip record/play for the selected track
a) There's probably a solution using M4L
b) The "Enter" key does this. Use Bomes or something else to emulate a keyboard from a footswitch
c) Use a footswitch with an APC40. (Not sure if Push can ...

Midi-map button to clip stop & record for the selected track
I've got a very complicated footswitch setup and I'm hoping to simplify. I currently loop my guitar going into a fender twin and a mesa. That requires two clip records and two clip stops for a total of 4 buttons. I also loop a mono synth and a poly synth. That's another 4 buttons.

Help making a footswitch that can do A, B, and AB via midi
I've been using a Roland FC-200 for a while now with Live and it works great. To get A(fender twin), B(mesa tremoverb), and AB to work, I use the FC-200 in midi note mode and use a device chain. This gives me access to each option, but it also uses up 3 of the 12 buttons on the device.

Re: Push - Latency Issues
Unplug the push and use your keyboard as an input. The delay will still be there. 500ms is half a second BTW. That's a massive delay. I you're talking samples instead of ms, then that's about 10-12ms which should be relatively instant.

Re: Audio channel routing wrong in Live with RME Fireface
It's not the wrong forum if this bug was introduced in an earlier Live update and I want it fixed in the next GM release. In any case, the bug is from RME's 3.02 version of the Fireface800 drivers, not that I'm on 3.08; the routing is fine. Carry on.cids wrote:Wrong forum!
