I've searched the forum and can't find a thing. I'm tired of trying to figure out why I can't record from Serato to Ableton. If anyone knows, please, please, please help. I can't get Ableton to pick up the signal.

Hey, if you guys have any suggestions on a good format to go with I would really appreciate hearing about it. I want my tracks to be mixable. Is it something like this:

Intro- 16 bars
Verse 1- 16 bars
Chorus- 8 bars
Breakdown- 8 bars
Repeat verse and chorus
then big breakdown
etc...

So I've been using Ableton, but just got a new Mac. It has Garage Band and I've enjoyed using it. There are samples I would like to export to Ableton, but can't find a way. Is there way to save it in wav format or something like that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I've done is decrease or increase the transpose option for the sample and I've tried to chop up some beats to make a build up (but it doesn't sound right). Any pointers or tips? I would greatly appreciate it as I feel it is so essential especially with drum n bass tunes ...
