Yeah man...I'm down.....check out my myspace site. I play guitar and bass and my brother in law is the singer on the Bliss on Tap site (I did his music/production with Ableton).

Great topic!
You'll see....everyone is all about playing classical music to babies b/c of a (flawed) study that showed an increase in IQ. We tried that with my first son and he CRIED AND CRIED. So to drown out his crying (for our sakes) we cranked some trance. He went right to sleep. The louder the ...

Sound quality....for REAL.
OK. REALLY. Is live's sound quality comprable to Logic? What's the deal with ? loss with Warp? I mean....if you lose any quality with Warp....then why use Live as a DAW?
I can't tell a difference.....but I was told Logic's quality was better.....is it?????
I prefer Live as a DAW it's just so much ...

What's more efficient?????
On a mac (power mac is what I have but for Intel chips too), what is more CPU efficient......Live 6 or Logic Pro?
I was wondering if Logic used the CPU resources better since it's an apple software package.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
cannon

Sure E 3
I'd honestly pay the (slightly) extra bit of cash and step up to the sure E3. Smaller, lighter weight than E2's and sound a lot better.....I use them for mixing as well....really beat over-ear headphones and CRYSTAL sound.

What do you think of the production work?
I started as producing for my brother's band (Bliss On Tap) but the more I got my dirty fingers into it.....really started adding some of my own production to the music (guitars, Operator, etc). I kinda pushed my way (unknowingly) into the songwrighting aspect of things......
Anyway, wanted to see ...

OT: UPDATE---Gibson Les Paul Thread
A month or two ago I was asking for everyone's input (guitarist Live users) on +/- of getting a Gibson Les Paul.
Well, yesterday I got a 2006 Standard, Cherry Sunburst.
All I have to say is.....HELL YEAH.
Great tone, amazing sustain. Worth the $2K.
Thanks for the help, all.......can't wait to ...

Live 6 Mastering Presets....
Wow.
I really had no idea how much better a track would sound with one of Live 6's mastering presets thrown onto the final master track.
I did the production for a friend's band, and finalized the track with one of the "vintage" mastering presets....the result has NO COMPARISON to the un-EQ'ed ...

Wow, I totally disagree about his live shows and music. Even if you DON'T like his sound....the production is SICK...way detailed. And his DJ sets were pretty crowd-based. Honestly, he's one of the people that got me into Ableton...after I saw a laptop set of his I was amazed that someone could be ...

Hey Detroit....
Detroit,
What do you think about the play-ability of the LP studio? Does the lack of fretboard binding make any difference? The cost factor is pretty big ($1200+ cheaper) so that woudl be a big difference......
Thanks.
I agree with most of you guys.....I love my Fender, and probably will always ...
