I have had the same problem syncing my Yamaha RS7000 to Live 5 using an Echo Audiofire 8 audio interface.

We just edited one of the videos that we put up on YouTube. I tried to lighten it up some and aded some effects. Pretty basic video editing, but it was the best i could do with Windows Moviemaker for now.
We're playing again this Saturday upstairs at Bossa in Washington DC.

Hey, I'm a new Ableton Live user. I did my first gig with ableton this last week with my band Inner Loop. I put a couple video clips from the show up on YouTube and Myspace. There will be more to come in the next day or so, as i chop the show up into 10 minute segments.

Well my band Inner Loop did our first gig last night and it went really well. I used Ableton with the Yamaha RS7000, a Gibson Digital Pro Echoplex, and a Kaoss Pad 2. I had to manually set the RS7000 to sync on beat one with Ableton so I could get the Echoplex to sync and it worked out alright. I ...

I have been talking to someone else who is having this same problem with Live 5 and the RS7000. They are also having problems syncing another piece of hardware to Ableton (I forgot what that gear was). He says he also tried to slave Ableton to the RS7k and that didn't work either. Is this an issue ...

I think its pretty harsh since I just bought Live 5 last Friday, and now if I had waited until today to unlock it I would get 6 for free. Doesn't make sense to me after I just shelled out a shit load of cash for it.

Edit: especially since I can't get Live 5 to start My Hardware sequencer on beat ...

Man, I just got my copy of Live 5 last Friday. This really blows if they aren't gonna give me a free upgrade.

Unfortunately its doing it with Midi Clock. I couldn't even get MTC to work even though my sequencer has an MTC setting. I'm not sure what i was doing wrong there either.
