Re: can a windows netbook handle this?

my whole point of using the netbook was especially to not have a too big a screen on stage. There are occasions where a big screen is too much

Re: can a windows netbook handle this?

This will absolutely work on a netbook. I used a netbook for my guitar for a long while using ableton & 3rd party fx & all worked well. I used a lexicon vst reverb on it so just using midi will easily work.

have a look at this http://www.harmonycentral.com/docs/DOC-1834 it works perfectly & no need for an external drive. Here is an ableton thread viewtopic.php?t=81880

Re: Scarlet 2i2 with a AKG Perception 220

why would you want to make your single vocal track stereo? if you want 2 tracks of the same voice then just duplicate it on another track

Re: Cheap multiple output external audio interface

the emagic 2/6 & 6/2 do not have drivers past windows xp (so vista & win 7 are out) don't know if they still work on macs. If you are on windows xp then the emagic 2/6 (not the 6/2 which is 6 ins & 2 outs) will be perfect.

Re: Presonus Audiobox or Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 for guitar ?

take focusrite everytime in that price range. I have the 2i2 & its incredible for the price & its usb 2. The sapphire is usb 1 but that is enough to deal with all inoput & outputs that it has.

newboss, I have been 100% with your comments on this thread! I have found exactly the same with the summing & coloration. The thing is that it gets progressively worse the more 'calculations' you have going on.

Re: Sidechaining with Waves C1

I'm afraid ableton is getting way behind all other 'normal' DAW's, they had a great advantage but they are not even bothering to keep up with the others. Sidechaining is a very basic fonction with all the other DAW's. Enough said, I think I'm leaving!!!!!!!!!!!
