any know a good guitar tab notepad, preferably VST ?

Howdy,
I often load up a song and am mystified exactly what it was I played (on guitar) mostly because I'm a terrible guitarist but mainly because I have a terrible memory. Consequently I find myself trying to decipher my own playing before I can play a bridge, or alternative part which fits.

So, if anyone knows of an over-simple VST note pad for tab (windows format) I'd be interested to hear of it.
What I could do with is a editor so I can make a quick note of the positions of what I am playing. Nothing too fancy, i don't need any key info, staff printing, nothing like that. Merely a simple method of letting myself know where (on the neck) and how I played a certain part.

Although its not really a tab editor I think I could probably get by with putting the tabs in textually.

Of course Live has it's own "text notes" feature, but it's near invisible and not really much use, it's a shame.
