to make it easier and if you were to adjust the levels of each track i imagine you will change the dynamics a little by not moving all faders the same amount

it's all the same and doesn't matter. so long as ...

Track volume vs. Master Volume
Just curious to know if pulling down the master fader to create some more headroom in a mix (for the mastering engineer) will affect the audio differently compared to pulling down each individual track to create the same amount of headroom?

So I tried rendering w/o normalization, different samples rates, etc, and still have the same problem. Haven't tried the rewire idea yet, but sounds like that will work too. So I just ran able as as a slave in Protools, and what a difference! The bounced track in Protools is crystal clear!! Also ...

Rendered track sounds different issue
OK...So I rendered a track to disk. When I play it back its sounds very different from the Ableton session. The drums are a lot less present. Anyone know why this is happening?

Have performance issues same session different times
OK so a couple times I 've noticed that my audio is getting the pops and clicks during a certain session, but if i reload that same session (with no changes made or added) after restarting Ableton or the entire computer, then it runs smoothly. I have the same appplication(s) running in the ...

Ableton not Warping loop correctly
So I created a loop in Reason at 175BPM. When I bring it into Live (my session is set to 175BPM), LIve says the original tempo is 178.01 and inserts a few warp markers. Why is this if it was bounced in reason at exactly 175 BPM?

Changing Impulse kits on the fly?
Ok since what I wanted to in my first post doesn't look to promising, any suggestions how one could flip thru multiple impulse kits on the fly, rather than having to use the mouse and go and click on each individual preset from the menu. *crossing fingers*

MIDI MAPPING question
Let's say that I have 5 tracks and 5 clips per track. I midi map them to 5 keys on a keyboard. A1 to Track 1, B1 to Track 2 to and so on for scene 1. Rather than mapping 5 different keys for the 5 clips in scene 2 is there a way to change it so the midi mapping for scene 1 moves down to scene 2 on ...
