I would like to visualize all of ableton´s track levels on the encoders´ LED rings of my midi controller in order to get a visual feedback of which tracks are currently delivering audio output.
As for now, I always have to look at the computer monitor to make sure i am changing the correct ableton ...

Re: Send parameters (e.g. track levels) to MIDI-controller
Don't know if it's what you are looking for, but I used a while ago Noisebud MidiVU (Beta version) and it worked fine together with my BCR 2000.

Speak to LIVID and use the Remote script for the Code....

Send parameters (e.g. track levels) to MIDI-controller
Is there a way to make ableton send previously selected track parameters to a connected MIDI-controller?

Re: VST-name-variation cause Ableton not to load plugin (psp84)
hey twisted-space,
thanks a lot for your hint, but I have tried this already. if i do this, the vst-effect entirely disappears from the vst-effect-list in ableton. only by renaming it back to "psp 84", i can make it reappear.
cheers. t

Hi there,
I have upgraded my OS from win XP to windows 7. All plugins I use seem to work just as fine after the migration, but I am facing a major problem with my copy of PSP 84 (Lexicon Effect). This effect still works fine with win7, but it shows a different identifying name in ableton:

Using multiple Soundcards with Live
As this feature is not natively supported by ableton live, this would mark a top issue on my personal live-wishlist for future versions!!
