I d like to find out since which Live version this helpful button appears in Midi Device Preferences... and in which cases coz its sometimes present sometimes not

Recording Drums in Impulse - A few first ms seem to be..
After recording drum loop from impulse a few first ms of audio data seem to be missing - the first kick sounds deafer. This effect is sometimes also audible when starting playbck. Has anyone encountered that?
