Recording Drums in Impulse - A few first ms seem to be..

After recording drum loop from impulse a few first ms of audio data seem to be missing - the first kick sounds deafer. This effect is sometimes also audible when starting playbck. Has anyone encountered that?

Yes I have and its noticable sometimes more than others.
I have also noticed this when using Operator. (Noticed during version 5 but I guess its still the same in version 6).
