I really enjoyed myself at this User Group meeting. Excellent exchange of ideas from all types of users.

Very cool.

Thanks to Laura Escude for putting these together.

But so many of my friends who use LIVE do not have this problem.

With me, it's only on the first few clips in the set, then Live runs smooth, no problems. It's like the computer has to get used to what's going on, then it is fine with it. It's like the computer has to relearn the pathways ...

I have intermittant audio drop outs the first time I launch some clips, and it can be either audio or midi, especially midi with Impulse. Also, if I enable a midi track to play a plug in from a M-Audio O2, the first note I play causes an audio drop out.

I have a new MacBook Pro, with the 7200 rpm ...

Rasputin- I use Live live and in the studio. It really is a great tool, as you pointed out. I performed with my Laptop, Ableton Live, and used the Akai MPD 24 as my control surface, at Create:Fixate in Los Angeles this month, and 6.0.3 worked fine with 64 clips, Reaktor and Absynth.

It keeps ...

I just turned 47 yesterday, been performing electronic music live since 1982.

Today I love electronic music more than ever.

May you all bring amazing new sounds to the planet.

Go Pisces!

Thanks Nordmach,
I still have my old G4 lappie with Live and all the plugs. So I'll continue to use both if I need to, and wait for the Universal Binary versions to come out. But thanks for the tip, it's there if I need it. This gives me an excuse to explore Operator and the Live plugs more!

Thanks Pitch Black, I visited the Cycling74 and NI sites, and I now see that it will be closer to the end of the year before Pluggo and Absynth are ready for intel based Macs.

Live on Mac Book Pro not seeing VST plug-ins

I have a Mac Book Pro running Live 5.2.1. Live will see AU plug-ins, except Absynth 3, and will not see any VSTs that i have, Pluggo and Absysnth. My old G4 Power Book running Live 5.2.1 works fine with AU and VST plug-ins.

Anyone with similar problems? Any solutions or things I can try?
