Bought a copy of The Drop recently and guessed correctly that those filters would be implemented into Live, though didn't expect that as a free update so it bodes well for a major overhaul in v10

Re: Racks from Live 8 not showing up in Live 9.
hey people, of course, once you know that all you need is within the live9 library, go ahead and kill the live8 library.
But I highly recommend not to do this on the first day. At least make a backup of it somewhere.
You might find out next week that there is something that doesn't work for you ...

Re: Racks from Live 8 not showing up in Live 9.
all seems to be fine after deleting the beta version and restarting live 9. yes, the browser update is welcome in some ways though a smoother transition from 8 would have been preffered

Momentary control with Querty keys? (IAC/midi yoke or???)
Hi guys, i've been trawling the old threads and tried a few things but to no avail, most of the posts i read were rather old, so i was wondering if there has since been a definitive method devised, or one that just works!

Re: legato quantised ducking?
no i dont want rhythmic gating.and i know about volume automation. i need to interupt one signal with another, to a predefined quantise. to be triggered by the second sound, but not dependent on its length, or any settings such as hold, release etc so that when its released the sound reverts back to ...

Re: legato quantised ducking?
hmm, the gate effect is a little better than the compressor, as it has a hold fuction, but really i need to set the length to a quantised amount, so when my sidechain sourse changes to, say a drumhit of a shorter length, then the ducking will stay at the set length and not be dependant on the source ...

Re: legato quantised ducking?
could you set up a dummy clip that doesnt necessarily output sound to the master, but would dictate when the ducking occurs? there are a few threads on here about dummy clips if you dont know how they work, i think that it might alleviate your issue if i am understanding it correctly.
Hope that ...
