Well, I just switched to another host. I like a lot of things about Live, a few things make me a bit nervous once in a while, but having to open all these gui one by one was just too much, can't take it anymore, especially since I have a 6x2 core machine with ssd drives and plenty of ram.

or anything that let's me open my plugs view without using the mouse on each of these silly small icons.

Is there a way to have all my plugs gui that where open (on last save) to open automatically when I load back that project ?

Found some workaround using a batch file that deals with it automatically, but a command
line option to select the config file like reaper does wouldn't hurt.
This is also interesting to launch live with different configs.

How do you launch a second instance of Live with different settings (audio driver, midi ports, colors,...), live 8.0.8 winxp32.
I see that on winxp, most preferences are stored in %APPDATA%\Ableton\LIVE_VERSION\Preferences
So I can launch 8.0.5 with different config from 8.0.8 as they don't share ...
