Re: 8.0.2 crash....

It is a potential I suppose. But I wasn't using any of our plugins; I was using Overloud TH-1; two instances. If you've got some issue you want to raise, feel free to PM me; I wont be checking my work email till Tuesday as it is a bank holiday and I'm enjoying the rare London sunshine 8)

8.0.2 crash....

Going to try 8.0.3 now, but wanted to post this here. Keep getting crashes when monitoring incoming audio; I don't believe it is anything to do with any plugins I am using: Thread 0 Crashed: 0 libstdc++.6.dylib 0x036d1e99 std::_Rb_tree_increment(std::_Rb_tree_node_base const*) + 13 1 com.ableton.liv...

Re: OT: LOST

Loop; I was thinking a similar thing, but was thinking Christian God and Satan - Lost seems to have quite a bit of connection to Miltons' Paradise Lost. Indeed! Also, have any of you guys ever read 'The Keep'? Or seen the film? Good stuff. About these two ancient beings that have been fighting for ...

Re: OT: LOST

I'm still betting that that Richard Alper came on the Black Pearl - and that it's the Black Pearl that Jacob is watching on the beach. You wait. That ship is going to end up in the middle of the island, and Richard will come walking up to Jacob and say "Hello Jacob." POW! Also, it's the Black Rock :)

Re: Dual Monitor Support!

+1 from me, but I doubt it'll happen for Live 8, as it's probably going to involve huge GUI changes.

Cascaded routing assignment

My brain is a bit fried, so I can't really think how to describe this better, so I'll use Pro-Tools as an example. With an instrument like BFD2, you get 32 outputs (Ableton limits them to 24, but that's another discussion!) in Pro Tools you can auto-assign these to tracks with a key-command. So lets...

Re: Does ableton bottleneck sound quality?

So my friends and I were considering grabbing a UAD-1/2 card, but when we were chatting with a gent from the music store, he said we wouldn't be able to get out the quality of the plug-ins/card if we used Ableton. That we would need Logic Pro or Pro Tools to really take advantage of it. Any thought...

we simply do not have the resources to do so while also working on new ideas that go away from a classical DAW. Cheers, Robert but the price for your product is too high for that statement! in my opinion you should have the resources. fire some customer care or other unnecessary business units guys...

its more about the internals than the case. if a logic board fails, and the laptop gets sent away, they will probably replace the logic board with either a new one, or one thats been returned with a minor error and repaired. your logic board will then get assessed if its worth reparing, and if it i...

Evolution has moved on from the realm of biology, and into the realm of technology. The rate of evolution has tapered off in the context of biology, but has exponentially increased in speed in technology. We are just the tools of a dynamic force that some call evolution, and some call God. So essent...
