Re: Cant get Looper to do overdub properly
You won't get any FX (or anything else) into your looper as there is nothing on it's channel's Input.

Re: MOTU UltraLite mk3
The Ultralite mkIII provides four independent latency-free stereo mixes with EQ/Compression on every channel. Any input can be mixed in any combination to any set of outputs. You never have to monitor your input signals via software again.
PS--It will work as a stand-alone mixer--no computer needed.

Set a Default format for clips dragged via Looper
When a loop is dragged into a clip slot, it is automatically set to Warp mode: "Re-pitch." I would love to be able to either have the Looper's behavior reflect the 'Default Warp Mode' or set it elsewhere.

Re: Best way to organized Live projects with Reason instruments?
On the Mac there is a software utility called Automator with which you can create scripts or apps. (Macros)
If you have a consistent set-up, you could simply hit one icon and have all your software (apps & files) open in whatever order you choose.
There is likely a Windows alternative.

Re: Anyone using Mobius over Ableton's Looper?
SooperLooper has been great for me and I'm only now considering using Live's Looper.
SooperLooper and Mobius are both quite excellent.

Re: Multiple Audio clip transpose via MIDI
Workaround #1 (Mac).
I used MIDIStroke to convert MIDI commands into qwerty keystrokes.
Make certain the IAC Bus is enabled in Audio MIDI Setup.
Record a MIDI clip wherein notes trigger the clip's Slot selection (up/down, left/right). The keystrokes are delivered via MIDI and converted by ...

Multiple Audio clip transpose via MIDI
I use Live as my primary DAW but I also have been using it as a live looping rig.
I'm kind of stumped on how to transpose multiple newly recorded audio clips via MIDI. I would like to press a button on my MIDI foot pdl and transpose a specified scene or other set of clips.
I have learned how to ...

Re: Multiple loopers + Transport Record = Big problems.
It may require some planning, but you can record scene changes into the arrangement that can change the tempo along your time line. Also, placing Locator markers in the arrangement can resume recording from specific points.
Sorry if that seems too obvious.
