Basically, I am interested in having Live automatically randomize automation envelope settings within clips in the session view for specific parameters. It would also be really nice if the randomization can be set to occur at different speeds. Is there a way to do this? Can Max for Live do this?

I tried the Max4Live demo and uninstalled what I could from Live's preferences (M4L devices etc.). I couldn't find anything after googling informing how I can uninstall Max/MSP/Jitter. Can anyone help?

Ah ok. So I can view up to six control surfaces but can utilize as many as I want for mapping to parameters, obviously setting each accordingly so there's no conflict. Cool, thanks.

I saw in a Novation video (or read it somewhere-forget which) that up to six Launchpads can be used with Live. Is this strictly for the launchpad or is six the general amount of controllers Live can run at one time?
I could have sworn I read threads where some users have more than six controllers ...

It works for me putting Kapture on a MIDI track and naming the track Kapture (not Kapture Pad as someone in that thread stated). Then name each clip in accordance with the preset names on Kapture ...

Just downloaded the M4L demo so I can try out Kapture (and the other great M4L devices of course).
I'm surprised there's no ability to switch between presets via MIDI CC without going in and making the necessary tweaks. I would figure for live performance this would be the obvious logical thing to ...
