Ahhh, but I'm running Live from Windows . Are there any alternatives which are Win based?

i've been telling folks for years... EQ4 sounds better than EQ3.... but nooooo, no one listens.

i don't think anyone was debating that eq3 sounded shit, it's just a bit of a pain to macro map the midi knobs to control two eq4s unless you have ableton 6.

controlAid can do it ...

I'm having the same problem as zeljk with the library browser.

I have tons of mp3 files on my computer yet Live appears to not seeing any of them. Their folders show nothing when open.

Am I missing an importing step somewhere in Live ?

I don't think it's a copyright issue because my mp3 songs ...

As an alternative, if you just want to learn to remix, there's occasional remix contests around here (and other forums) where the artists provide stems (i.e. the individual audio tracks), or sometimes just the original source sounds.

lol ok, nice analogy . So how do the pros do it? Do they just get hold of the original copies before they're mixed down?

What's the best way of mixing the tracks? I know a little about warping but are there any other hints/tricks?
