im going to return it for a new one if i can. happened again and i tried tapping on the casing and it would make the leds on that side flicker and pulse. not happy at all. it's only about two weeks old.

im almost positive it isn't a firmware issue. bc it happened again last night and i tapped on the casing next to the lcd window and the leds on that side would flicker on and off and pulse too everytime i tapped it. im going to return it for a new one it's only two weeks old :/

Im not sure if there is but is there a way to initialize it?

and in all honesty im not surprised at the lack of response they're too busy trying to do their push tour to bring new people in that they probably forgotten about the people that have already bought in to it. I had a recent LCD problem ...

I had it powered up via usb only, turned it off and on, restarted computer, plugged it into an outlet. No dice, it was like this for about 15 minutes then the problem corrected itself. Not sure what that means, thankfully I bought it ...

maybe make a conscious effort to wash your hands before getting into the studio. i cringe everytime I watch a video like El-P in the studio smoking a cig before messing with that gear. I can only imagine what that is doing to his 808.

For cleaning I would go with what jestermgee said - lightly ...

I haven't had that kind of problem yet but I suspect it would with lots of wear. I wonder how much the person in the video had been using his Push for that to happen. I also don't think the fading corners would bother me unless it started to fade out what the buttons say. I wonder if the same thing ...
