Does your current Live library have the same file path as where your library was on your old computer?


No, it is on D drive now, and was on c drive on the old computer - but Ableton helpfully includes a search tool for just such an occasion. Trouble is, a search of the whole D drive does not ...

After upgrading from LIve 6 to 8 (and moving everything to a new computer), the older songs are missing the sample drum hits etc from the Live 6 Pack.

Searching the new computer has not found them although I (thought) I migrated all data.

I had set MIDI for a Mackie Controller/BCF2000. Which brings up the question, how can I run my BCF and my keyboard simultaneously? - but that will have to be another post!

I have an M-Audio Keystation 49e connected via Saffire Pro 14 to Live 8. It has worked fine for several years with no problems in Live 6 and Live 8. I have fiddled around with mapping and somehow screwed it up.

In Live 8, the I/O "show/hide" toggle button is greyed out, or whited out, and does not work.

In Arrangement view it is normal and does toggle to show or hide the I/O controls.

I can't find this exact problem anywhere else, can anyone offer any help?
