I don't listen to a great deal of electronic music really, but i do like AFX and it reminds me of the mellow tracks from Analord a little.

Re: Reason drum kits in Live?
Take a look at Toontracks Drumkit From Hell (comes in AKAI, EXS, Giga flavors, amongst others, and should be usable in Lives Sampler), Drumkit From Hell Superior (40GB Library and dedicated Plugin) and EZDrummer (plugin, IIRC about 5GB Samples, 8000 Midi Files).

Re: Reason drum kits in Live?
Oh okay I should have read this closer. you cant open the samples themselves in Live, but why not use Reason as Rewire?
I only own Live right now, i was lent the Refill DVD by a friend who uses Reason. I don't really have that much spare cash to buy Reason also, maybe i could find good use for it ...

Reason drum kits in Live?
I have a DVD of drumkits for Reason and i was wondering if there is any way i can use these with Live? The kits are held in a single .rfl file so i am unsure how to get to the audio samples themselves.
Thanks for any help.

Or nature is amazing for the rest of us non-believers :)
But yes i agree that nature has infinite craziness, whenever you think you have some kind of mental hold over it you will see something that makes you rethink everything. The sea really is a completely alien place, especially some of the deep ...

Question about recording beats....
Is there any way to record a beat without any tempo setting then have Live detect what tempo i played at and quantize afterwards? I find it really annoying having to record a beat with the metronome going in the background, and i also dislike recording single loops at one time (like how they show in ...

They have listed the upgrade prices here > http://www.ableton.com/live6-pricing
99EUR for the digital upgrade from 5, 179EUR for the boxed version with the sampled instruments. No idea about the Sampler pricing though.

Yeah i knew that analogue outs are instrument level, but i was under the impression that the SPDIF was not. The manual does'nt seem to make any mention about it which is annoying, i'm going to take a look on the forums there and see if i can find anything.
I have a feeling you could be right though ...

I'm pretty certain that i have everything set correctly, right down to the basic windows control panel settings where i have the spdif input level at max. The Pod's Digital I/O is set up correctly and the Creative control panel (not the most intuitive, or complete thing in the world) is also set up ...

@ njh, Sorry i don't undertsand what you mean, i am connecting with a regular instrument cable to my BassPod, then from the pod to the pc with SPDIF. I can connect Pod>PC with an instrument cable too (soundcard has instrument & mic input) but it makes no difference to the signal level, i have decent ...
