Thanks psycoactive. It took me approx. 7-8 hours. I'll check yours later today. Really awesome diversity!
Cheers

Brett Handersohn - Retreat (Beat The Clock)
Hi there Ableton-heads.
My take on Beat The Clock.
http://contest.ableton.com/tracks/601
I used one of the M83-sets.
Hope you like it. Really like what I'm hearing from the other guys/gals that have submitted tracks!
Cheers,
Brett

Mac OS X Lion and latency
Hi,
What's your experience regarding latency with Live (8.2.5) and OS X Lion?
I tried to use some synths and drum machines today in arrangement view and couldn't stand it! Impossible to play or record anything 'cus of latency.
I'm on a MBP 2,53 ghz core i5, using a Terratec Phase x24 Firewire card ...

Re: MIDI buttons - tempo mapping: press button -> tempo +1
Don't know how to do exactly what you're asking. Check the "Nudge"-feature in the manual.
But you can also control the tempo of your live set by renaming your scenes.
A scene with a namne starting with "120bpm" for example, will set your set's tempo to 120 when you launch the scene.

Re: Anyone up for starting a blog together?
Thanks Tarekith, great hands-on advice!
There are obviously a lot of obstacles.. Thought that this would be the place to find the right people for it.
But yeah, guess time is the biggest problem...

Anyone up for starting a blog together?
Got this idea a while back. Been thinking about it... thought I'd give it a try.. :-)
Would be great to collaborate on a blog. Post mixes, tips, tricks about our favorite DJ-application... Maybe some music-reviews as well?
If there's 7 of us, we could easily get one post/day. The ideal thing would ...

Re: How to be behind the beat, but still in time
I'd go for the Philosopher's suggestion. I use alot of tracks by J Dilla and Madlib in my sets. They're sort famous for their specific grooves. It's what makes up a big part of their style. I keep the downbeat lined up. Maybe not as tight as every third beat though... then some snares and kicks will ...

Re: Getting Started With Effects in Performance View
Neyko: I'm not an APC40-owner myself but if I have understood this correctly you shouldn't have to map your Macro-Knobs on the APC40 - they map themselves onto whatever effect rack that is currently selected.. Am I right?

Re: Launchpad freaks out when midi mapping with Akai MPD24
Don't know about the midi-mapping to clips and strange behaviour. But I had the same problem with my Launchpad freaking out when my other controllers sent CC-messages on certain specific CC-numbers (search the forum, I think it was CC#1 or #0 and CC# 16). Got it confirmed as a bug from Novation ...

Re: DJs - How do you use the audio effect racks?
Kool. Thanks Tarekith!
Another question; I'm planning to make a user remote script so that my knobs will map automatically to the macro-knobs but I want to have good control over selecting the effect racks via MIDI. Is it possible to map a CC-number so that it BOTH selects the audio effect rack and ...

DJs - How do you use the audio effect racks?
Hi everybody,
I'm DJing with Ableton Live and just recently got me the MPK Mini. With those cute little knobs I've been thinking about starting to use those audio effect racks with the macro knobs. Been browsing around the presets bundled in Live Suite but haven't found anything that really suits ...
