Anyone up for starting a blog together?

Got this idea a while back. Been thinking about it... thought I'd give it a try..

Would be great to collaborate on a blog. Post mixes, tips, tricks about our favorite DJ-application... Maybe some music-reviews as well?
If there's 7 of us, we could easily get one post/day. The ideal thing would be to get many different contributors that listen/make/mix different genres of music.

I have over 20 years experience with electronic music. Not interested in any newbie crew! Had do say it Guess you have some experience, though.
I dont know, but if you have a hit blog project, tallents will be attrackted to join. Personally im way to occupied to have time to invent and build a new blog project. But if you have a ready consept, then perhaps.

There'd be room for both newbie and more advanced stuff I guess. But I see what you mean and I agree. It would have to be serious. Everyone putting in effort to make it worthwile...

You have to be commited to run a blog. It takes a lot of time and a lot of thought to put together good blog posts. You have to be willing to commit a good part of your week to it, every single week. Trying to offset the workload by spreading it around to several different people may seem like a good idea, but without the drive and the committment by everyone involved, I don't foresee it working out.

The way I see it, unless you're really in cahoots with another person and you're both committed and on the same page, then you can make it work. Otherwise, I suggest you take full responsibility and do it yourself.

It's kind of like starting a band. You may be able to schedule a few practices in and maybe have a show or two, but you'll never make it unless every band member is fully committed and willing to sacrifice everything else in their lives for the band.

Sorry, already have my own blog and that's work enough. As was mentioned, it's a lot of work to keep putting out new content. Best bit of advice I can give is before you do anything, see if you can list 20 ideas for topics for your blog. If not, you might want to wait until you can. Oh yeah, and don't go an post them all in the first week or two, have patience and spread it out to make it last. Good luck!
