Still having problems here, I don't understand really as never had problems with other DAW's before but now this with Ableton?
If I use Asio4all it's better and can even use a 256k buffer but surely thats not a great option as im using a decent soundcard not internal on board rubbish?

Thanks for the help and the pointers, Ill look into driver error compensation and look up the subject. Im willing to try any suggestions after not being able to sort this myself. Like I said, none of the other DAW's I use have this problem so I thought I would come and ask those who use it on a more ...

I'm relying on the standard echo settings & adjusting the asio setting via the control panel in Live (which then opens the Echo buffer setting). I have tried changing Mia settings seperate to Ableton all with the same problems.
With the same Echo interface setting then switching to Cubase or Reason ...

Firstly Hi, it's a pleasure to view such a great community with so much good advice & help.

My soundcard is an Echo Mia Midi using the latest Asio drivers.
