Hi all, I have 4 instruments connected to the inputs of my Scarlett 4i4 4th Gen;

Input 1 - Microphone
Input 2 - Synth
Input 3 - Behringer Edge
Input 4 - Ableton Move (Standalone)
Output 1-2 going to my Studio Monitor speakers
Monitor - Headphones

It's come and go, it used to be fine in Tiger, still happened. but not as badly. This time round it seems to not let me at all..

Okay so I plug in a Firewire audio interface to my iMac, and now when I try to change the volume on the imac.. it doesn't change the volume on the interface (sound works fine, and it's been manually changed also to the interface in sys prefs.. anyone got any idea what'd cause this? Yup same problem from time to time, on both my imac and macbook pro, both core2duo 2.16ghz and both w/ 3gb ram. ah well I read both sites, and we'll see what happens..

I have to agree with that! I got logic studio recently (never used it prior) not even a week ago.. and yeah started poking around/thumbing through the getting started guide. and yeah, makes a lot of sense!

I bought logic studio so that it's used in a studio situation.. and Live for live situations... from what I've seen of both, and since I own both, and will own both for years and years to come.. yeah that's my comparison... Logic is for production, Live (can be as well but more so) is for live ...

ooooh, can't wait since I ordered a copy of Logic 8, which will arrive here when Live 7 will apparently be announced
