its fine if your just working in ableton, but was just thinking that if I wanted to use the files in a different application in the future all the levels wont correspond to the way they were recorded. for Example, If I was to edit a file in an Audio Editor I would like to be hearing the file at the ...

I see that but its when I right click and consolidate is what I am talking about. Is there any why round that? Would have thought there would be in the options

is there way to set ableton so as that it wont normalize when consolidating. I would prefer it not too

Is ableton bad at finding samples. even if I select the folder that the missing samples are in it still does not find them. Anybody else getting this happening to them

Yeah you should be able to select all tracks but not midi tracks and you should see the clip property's for all tracks selected. then just bring down the volume and that will affect and tracks selected. if you have midi tracks you will have to going in to each instrument and bring the volume down to ...

Does anybody know of a way to to get ableton to record the movements inside reaktor just like it does with other instuments. I can record my controller movements but I would all so like to record things I do inside it.

rs is the master. can other hardware do what I am trying to do ok(record loops on the fly like you would with midi tracks inside ableton)? or is there problems doing that?.

I am synchronizing rs with a midi lead to my rme card and tried everything with latency and driver error compensation settings in the preferences. I have also tried turning on and off the direct monitoring on the card and cant get it working ok
