Am I the only Live 9 user that still has legacy 7 packs?

Wondering if I should be embarrassed or not.

Double play with MIDI controller

I mapped the play button from my controller to Live 9 using Edit MIDI map. It's now sending a controller message upon button press AND release, which makes it stutter. How do eliminate the message being sent on release?

Deep tech & vocal!

Track called Not Afraid by Movable. And a video consisting of clouds recorded from the cockpit of a jet and hot chicks doing abstract synchronized swimming!

Re: Why I think Lives Groove quantise is wrong (again)

I think choosing a groove template from a dropdown menu feels too much like working in an Excel spreadsheet or something. I'd rather have a knob that I can turn like in Reason. But not to divert too far from OP's point- note lengths should not be changed.

Re: Live 9 Browser suckatude!!

I have to say I'm still trying to get my head around it. I'm RTFM'ing and just experimenting. Seems like a lot of the categories are redundant, i.e. I find the same instruments, plugins, etc. in multiple places. Also it doesn't really offer much customization which is hard for the control freak in m...

Movable - Get Next To You (vocal house tune with cool video)

New track my partner in crime and I just released. We call oursleves Movable- we send each other Live project files with dropbox- she records the vox and I do the music, and sometimes a little vice-versa :) Here's the youtube vid I made for it- a little bootleg re-edit of an awesome movie called "Yo...

Bass patch ID

I'm trying to identify the bass patch from this "Power House Chords" demo: http://www.loopmasters.com/product/details/1265 In this demo it sounds like they're playing a 2-note chord, but it's a bassline. I had this sound on an old Roland unit I used to have- the patch was called "Club Registers" I b...

Acapella Anonymous legal question

OK I might be dating myself here (meaning I'm old) but I'm thinking at least a few people on this board know about the old Acapella Anonymous series. They were viny only releases of bootlegged 'pellas, rumored to be stolen from master tapes in the middle of the night, or something like that. Anyway ...

Monitors going pop

Just set up my little studio in a new house and notice my Mackie MR5s are making small popping noises, presumably when there is a fluctuation in the electrical system. I just have everything plugged into a regular old Belkin power strip... do I need to upgrade to a power conditioner? Or is there a m...
