This is an odd one- Live successfully scans my Maschine 3 VST3, but I can't find it in anywhere in my library. My default.als has an instance of Maschine 3 but it says plugin not found. It used to work... then I updated Maschine and it went missing. So I thought it was a Maschine issue, but the VST3 loads just fine in Reaper and the stand-alone version works! Maschine 2 VST3 shows up too. I'm kinda stumped.
Any ideas?

A "deep scan" in Ableton is a forced, full rescan of all plugins, which you can initiate by holding down the Alt (Windows) or Option (macOS) key while clicking the "Rescan" button in Live's Preferences > Plugins menu. This is useful when plugins aren't showing up, even after a standard rescan.

Cool- I'll try that, thanks. I installed Live and Maschine on another mac and it found the VST3 no prob, so that's a relief.
